Strike of SNCF switchers in Dijon: no train will be able to run until Sunday morning

At Dijon station, the SNCF displayed on its screens the renewal of the signalmen’s strike movement. From 6 p.m. this Friday, May 19 until Sunday morning, no train will pass through Dijon. On the other hand, replacement coaches are planned.

This Thursday, May 18, France 3 Bourgogne announced the renewal of the SNCF signalmen’s strike until today, Friday, May 19, impacting the Burgundy network.

This morning, the SNCF displayed on the screens of Dijon station that this disruption will last longer than expected, as explained by our colleagues from France Bleu Bourgogne.

No train runs between Friday May 19 from 6 p.m. and Sunday May 21 in the morning, can we read on the screens of the station.

All TER and TGV trains passing through Dijon affected by the strike

This announcement concerns all TER and TGV trains passing through Dijon. They will either be canceled or diverted. The railway company explains that replacement coaches are scheduled to allow travelers to make their journey.

Among the canceled trains, there is the link between Besançon and Dijon and all the Franche-Comté-Dijon routes.

We remind you that the signalmen have been on strike since Tuesday. They demand better pay and improved working conditions.
